In celebration of my 27th birthday, I thought I’d answer 27 random questions to distract me from the fact that I’ve officially entered my “late twenties” 😮 Yup, still waiting for that “grown up feeling” to kick in, anytime now… So while I sit here twiddling my thumbs and anticipating a wave of maturity to sweep over me, enjoy my interrogation of myself 😀 Oh and to all of my Sikh brothers and sisters, HAPPY VAISAKHI ❤

What word do you always misspell?

Millennial and liaise/liaising/liaised (as an English graduate I don’t think you understand how much it pains me to admit that I’ve ever misspelled anything btw!)

Would you enjoy a vacation away from all of your technology?

Yes!

What food do you crave most often?

Dairy Milk Oreo chocolate bars

If you opened a restaurant, what kind of restaurant would it be?

A chicken and macaroni and cheese joint that doubles as a tea shop with all types of teas and hot chocolates and cakes + ridiculously comfy reclining sofas everywhere and fairylights

Would you rather take a two week all expenses paid vacation right now or a one month all expenses paid vacation in one year?

Two weeks now please, who knows what’s gonna happen in a year!

If you had to work, but didn’t need the money, what would you do?

What would your perfect room look like?

Spacious, beige, filled with sunlight, big comfy bed with soft duvet and lots of pillows and candles, fairy lights, big fluffy rug and a fireplace

What job would you be terrible at?

Teacher

When was the last time you climbed a tree?

Probably a couple of months ago 😂

If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning medal for?

Jumping to conclusions haha

What is the most annoying habit that other people have?

It’s a tie between being on your phone during a social situation/blowing cigarette smoke in my face

What takes up too much of your time?

I literally spent three hours yesterday untangling two of my necklaces that had become intertwined, after enlisting the help of my mum and sister, we eventually did it though! #TeamWorkMakesTheDreamWork

What TV show or movie do you refuse to watch?

Love Island

What’s the best single day on the calendar?

My birthday, of course! Nah, I don’t have a favourite single day, but Diwali-New Year’s Day is probably my favourite time of year 🙂

What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives

Learn first-hand what the difference is between going on holiday and going travelling

What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?

Starting my own family

Where is the most relaxing place you’ve ever been?

Ubud in Bali

What do you wish your brain was better at doing?

Remembering things, I’m like Dori from Finding Nemo sometimes!

Fresh sheets, freshly cut grass, cake baking in the oven

When someone tries to control/restrict me

What irrational fear do you have?

That a freakishly tall person will trip and squash me, yes I’m being deadly serious

When I’m doing something physically active

What do you like most about your family?

They encourage independence, but are always there when I need them and they never try to force their opinions on others

If you had a personal flag, what would be on it?

Probably a monkey, the colour purple, the number 13 and a burger

How do you hope you’ll change as a person in the future?

Hopefully I’ll become more patient and less savage, but alas, only time will tell 😛
