Just A Small Town Girl…

With a bushy black beard and a twinkle in his eye,

This guy can talk for England, he’s definitely not shy!

His broad shoulders and chest command attention when he walks,

You can’t help but become captivated whenever he talks.

His eyes widen with curiosity and his brain races at a million miles per hour,

He has a soft spot for ‘crisp’ which he loves to devour!

You can talk to him about anything, he’ll sit down and lend an ear,

Whenever he’s around there’s nothing to fear. ❤

He’s emotionally mature unlike any guy his age,

He knows how to communicate and makes sure we’re on the same page.

His faith keeps him grounded, resilient and strong,

His Mum raised him well; he knows right from wrong.

There’s truly no one quite like him, he has a heart of pure gold,

And as of today he’s 30 years old!

In a few short months he’ll become a Dad, isn’t that great?!

27 years it took me to find him but he was well worth the wait. 🙂

That he’s eternally happy, healthy and smiling I continue to pray,
