Hello old friend, long time no see. I’ve missed you! The past few 12 months have been hectic to say the least, with SO many ups and downs. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever laughed and cried so much in a single year! However, I’m pleased to report that I’m ending 2021 with a big, fat smile on my face😃.
It’s been a year of many firsts for me. In spite of COVID and the subsequent rapidly changing landscape we’ve all had to adjust to time and time again, I got engaged, I tied the knot, I moved house (and 3 hours up north!), I bought my first car, and I even went to Wales for the first time😂 woop woop.
But most importantly, this year I’ve realised how absolutely, positively, truly BLESSED I am. For the first time ever I’ve begun to actively appreciate the little day-to-day things that I would ordinarily take for granted. And it’s also the year I’ve understood that my plans mean diddly squat in front of God’s decree.
So I wish you, dear reader, nothing but happiness, good health and positivity for the year ahead, you deserve nothing less! Keep smiling and being yourself because YOU my friend are an amazing human being 😊. See you on the other side!
What a year 2021 was for you!
Hope all is well!
And wishing you the very same. 🙂
Always good to hear from you, Sharan. Glad to know you’ve had a solid year. Wish you more joy in 2022.
What is your full name ?.. sauj
I’ve just discovered this blog and of the few posts I’ve read, I feel like I can relate to a few things already. I’m 29 and Sikh, currently engaged getting married this year. I also have E.W.S and I also write poetry mainly rhyme but as a way to express myself in negative times. I look forward to reading your posts 🙂
