It’s The Little Things

How amazing is that feeling when you share an uncontrollable, spontaneous fit of laughter with another person. When your entire body is heaving, eyes filled with tears, unable to utter a single word, just pure, unadulterated joy. So much laughter that it eventually ceases to even be a sound; you’re just both sitting there rocking back and forth in silence, slapping/clapping, mouths wide open. It’s your moment. Someone nearby asks, “What’s so funny?” but explaining the joke will only tarnish it, so you keep schtum. Their loss. After a while, some deep breaths and dabbing of eyes, you both regain composure, only to sneak a glance at them and find them smirking back at you…and you’re off again!
