Following my graduation from university, I thought what better way to employ my linguistic skills and imaginative mind than by starting up my own WordPress blog.
I’ll blog about topics and issues that I’m passionate about and that are relevant to me, whilst concocting rhymes about anything and everything!
As long as I retain my creative-flow I’ll attempt to update my blog on a regular basis, so expect great things from me and enjoy… thanks for stopping by. 🙂

I think your article about colourism is spot on! It’s rampant in SE Asia as well – same thing – light is better than dark, and stores filled with skin lightening products. And of course the whole issue about height/weight is another way we get bombarded to feel inferior. The ego needs to compare and find ways to make itself superior.

Second – we are old enough to be grandpa, indeed are already granduncles many times over. Making someone feel inferior is a defense mechanism to mask our own insecurities and fears. To understand that and articulate it as you have done takes wisdom we only just gained yesterday. 🙂 Certainly at the age of 22 we were not thinking about such ideas.
